Final: Part 2

Final: Part 2

A.   Something I liked about this class was that Mr. Haymore had control of the classroom the whole time. Something I did not like was that we had to do the same thing every day and we didn't do any group work.
B.   To improve the class we should do group projects or even go outside and do something as class so we can bond and get to know each other.
C.    To be honest no I did not really do my best all the time because some days I would just sit and day dream but I would finish my work.
D.   Yea I do read my 100+ goals at least three times a week. I read them when I need something to do at home or when I want to go over the things I have already accomplish.
E.    I’m not a CTR person all the time because most of the time I do not listen to the rules.
F.    Something I promise to do for my body, mind and spirit is to start being health and help more around the house.

Final: Part 1

Final: Part 1

When I first heard of the Interdisciplinary Unit I did not really know what was it about, so I did not pay that much attention to it. Later on when they explain to me that we had to come after school and present of front of people, I was in shock because I did not expected that. Then later on my teacher put us in group, at first I was disappoint because I thought my group members were not going to do that much work. But on the way I started to change my opinion about them because they turn out to be a hard working group. I ended up making new friends because of this project we had to do as a group. So when the time came that we had to present I was nervous, I was in the hallway shaking my legs around waiting for our turn. I started to talk to people that had already present there project and they were telling me not to be nervous because it goes by fast and the people don’t really pressure you at all. So when are time came up, I walk inside the classroom, set up our project in the projector and then I started to speak. I would say everything went smoothly and everyone in my group did a great job and it was a honor working with them.

When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.
Abraham Lincoln

A good way of feeling good about yourself is to help people out, for example in school, community or even in your house. To feel bad you must have done something that makes you guilty, such as copying people in school, vandalize your city or make a mess in your own house.

Are you in Charge
“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
 Mr. Haymore

What I think this quote means is that if you take
care of your body, think good and be spiritual you will be in charge of your life because you will be able to think more clearly. A good way to take care of your body is to stay fit, your mind should only be thinking about good thoughts and your spirit should be good.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do.”

What I think this quote means is that we should keep on going with doing good deeds and not let anyone lead you to the wrong direction.

When you Tell One Lie it leads to Another, Paul Hatch

When you Tell One Lie it leads to Another
Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you can tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect you
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies you’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up and then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep Multiplying
‘Till whole wide world will know you’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you’re closing the door
On everything good

“When you Tell One Lie, it leads to Another”
Always speak the truth
Paul Hatch

What this quote means is that once you say lie, you dig yourself a hole and if you continue to lie, the hole will get dipper and it’s going to be hard for you to get out of it. It’s always good to admit the truth, instead of getting more in to trouble.

The 3 Question
1.            Can people trust me to do what’s right?
2.            Am I committed to doing my very best?
3.            Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?

“If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”
 Lou Holtz
What this quote means is that if you do the questions above and you follow them , there’s no way you can be a failure in life.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break

What I did in my thanksgiving break is go out with my friends to play soccer in the park. Also went with them to places and just hang out. On thanksgiving I was with my family and enjoy the day with them, we all ate dinner together. Later on that day I went to my friend house like at 8 pm. There were like 5 of us that night and we were already to go shopping because of black Friday. I ended up going back home the next day around the afternoon. On my weekend I just stay home play some soccer with my little brother and play the ps3 for a bit.

Physical Fitness
“Physical Fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
President John F. Kennedy
What I think about this quote is that we need to maintain a healthy life style plus make better food decisions. If our body is good and strong, we will be able to accomplish more things that we haven’t done.

Dermatologist

Dermatologist
Duties and Responsibilities: Specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating skin diseases and conditions. They can also perform minor outpatient surgeries, such as removing legions, warts, moles, or cancerous cells from the skin.
Salary: $82,540- 187,200

Reflection: I would not mind to do this job because they make good money and plus you’re your own boss. The only thing I don’t like about this, is that you need to go to school for a while plus get some training which would take you awhile to become a dermatologist.
