Student Success Statement,Theodore Roosevelt

Student Success Statement
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.”
Theodore Roosevelt
What I think this quote means is that if anyone is in any situation, it is always better to choose the right because later on you won’t regret the choice you made.

Progress Post

Progress Post

So far in my 100+ goals I have written down 157 goals. Out of those many goals so far I have achieve 42 victories. I plan by the end of the school year to achieve 20 more victories and write down more goals. Some of my victories took me a while to achieve because most of the time I was busy with school work or helping my parents around the house. But in my free time I attempted to achieve some of my goals and not all the time I would get a victory.

Student Success Statement, John Wooden

Student Success Statement
“Make each day your masterpiece. You have to apply yourself each day to become a little better, and over a period of time you become a lot better.”
John Wooden

What I think about this quote is that make each day of your life worthwhile because you only live once. Plus a good way to determine what you’re going to day the next day is to plan it out.

Student Success Statement, Pam Knox

Student Success Statement
It’s a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.
Pam Knox

What I think this quote means is that it takes a lot of guts to step up and help someone else and the feeling after is unforgettable. You just can step up and help someone all the time, it has to be at the right at the right moment so you can get that feeling.

Student Success Statement, Alexander Hamilton

Student Success Statement
“A promise must never be broken.”
Alexander Hamilton

What I think about this quote is that it’s direct. What I mean by that is that the quote means what it exactly says. Breaking a promise is like losing people trust because once you break the promise how would they be able to believe in you again.

Student Success Statement, Anonymous

Student Success Statement
“What you see is what you get”
Anonymous

What I think about this quote is that it’s straight forward. It means what it says, which is that what you are able to see with your two eyes is going to be the thing you’ll receive .

Student Success Statement, Henry David Thoreau

Student Success Statement
“Goodness is the only investment that never fails.”
Henry David Thoreau.

What I think about this quote is that even though your investment fails it doesn’t matter because at least you give it a try and goodness may come.

3 world records

World Record
1.     Most Goals in a Season
2.     The world record holder is Lionel Messi (91 Goals)
3.     This world record was set in 2012
4.     One of my favorite world records is Gareth Bale because he broke the record by being the most expensive player in the world. (85 million euros)
5.     I’m fascinated by this record because it shows if you work really hard it pays off in the end.
6.     Yes I would like to break a record but at the moment I don’t know which one.

1.     Oldest person in the world
2.     This world record holder is Misao Okawa (117 years old)
3.     This world record was set in April 2015
4.     One world record that I like also is Zlatan Ibrahimović for being worth the most expensive player of all time because of his combine transfer fee.
5.     I’m fascinated by this record because even though he was not bought once by a big club but many times from different clubs.

1.     Land speed record
2.     This record belongs to Andy Green (763.035 mph)
3.     This record was set in October 15, 1997

5.     I’m fascinated by this record because it takes a lot of practice and hard work to score all those goals.

Student Success Statement,Theodore Hesburgh

Student Success Statement
“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”
Theodore Hesburgh

What I think about the quote is that people shouldn’t make their final decision on what others thing but what feels right. There’s no point of making the decision if you’re just going to be a follower, it’s better to lead and let people follow you by choosing the right.

Student Success Statement, Joseph Smith

Student Success Statement
“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound (not good)
Joseph Smith

What I think this quote means is that, if you sound right and speak good you will be popular. What I mean by that is people will know you more for being a very smart person instead of being dumb. For being dumb and not sounding good to others you will be unpopular.
